Jacob Loose stands with his left side to the camera as he looks at a local guide who may be a teenage boy. A camel is lying on the ground beside the guide with his neck stretched flat on the ground. Ella Loose is seated on a camel behind Jacob with a local guide standing beside the camel holding the lead. Great Pyramids are behind the Great Sphinx which loom behind the party in Giza, Egypt. The Great Sphinx is visible between Jacob Loose and Ella Loose. A saddled donkey stands with his back to the group on the left side of the photograph. Small groups of other people are on the far left and far right of the photograph.
