Second row from top: two men, unclear which instruments; three French horns; one saxophone; one more unclear. Third row from top: unclear; five clarinets; unclear (oboe?). Front row: Milo Durrett, holding a conductor's baton; six trumpets; R.J. Bieber, holding a walking staff. On the ground in front of them is a Bass drum with attached cymbal and a snare drum, with sticks and a beater. Writing beneath the band, on the image itself, reads: "Milo A. Durrett / Master Technical Sergeant / Conductor. 3st Regiment Band Parris Island South Carolina. Tech. Sgt. R.J. Bieber / Ass't. Leader."
