On the occasion of Claude "Fiddler" Williams' 93rd birthday celebration, he signs an autograph for an unidentified African American woman who bends toward him as he sits at a table in the Blue Room in the America Jazz Museum in the 18th and Vine District of Kansas City, Missouri. Claude's wife, Blanche Williams, sits next to him and smiles toward the right side of the photograph. The audience in the Blue Room surrounds them. The date, "2 16 '03," is imprinted by the camera on the bottom right-hand corner of the photograph.
