King of Swing: Musical melodies to fit the taste of America's dancing feet, whether it's swing or sweet, are contributed to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's Technicolor extravaganza, "Broadway Rhythm," by Tommy Dorsey, the Sentimental Gentleman of Swing, and his orchestra. Heading the cast of the gay musical are George Murphy and Ginny Simms. Others contributing music or merriment are Charles Winninger, Ben Blue and Nancy Walker, Gloria De Haven and Kenny Bowers, Lena Horne and Eddie "Rochester" Anders, Hazel Scott, and Bunny Waters. Roy Del Ruth directed "Broadway Rhythms," which is brought to the screen by Producer Jack Cummings (from photo transfer).
