An NBC Broadcast in front of Joyce Kilmer Memorial Shrine in Brunswick, New Jersey brings a group of people (white women, men, and one girl seen) to the front of the house. One gentleman watches the broadcast through an open window of the Kilmer home. The Georgian style home of Joyce Kilmer, 17 Codwise Ave, New Brunswick, NJ, has the front door on the left. A projecting glass, circular sign above the door states, "Joyce Kilmer Post No. 25. American Legion." An NBC microphone on a stand is in the foreground of the photograph with a man reading from a script and two man standing on either side of him listening. The crowd is behind these three men. There is a support system for two small trees in the foreground of the photograph. Three flags lean against the house.
