Thomas Wolfe birthplace at 92 Woodfin Street, Asheville, North Carolina is a Queen Anne style, two-story frame house. A woman stands on the wrap-around porch supported by columns. A man, likely the gardener, stands on the ground besides the steps leading up to the porch. Three bird cages and a plant hang from the porch ceiling. The foundation porch supports are brick columns.
