Memorial plaque with an inscription by Charles Hayden at the Hayden Planetarium in the American Museum of Natural History in New York. "It states, "I believe the planetarium is not only a place of interest and instruction but that it should give a more lively and sincere appreciation of the magnitude of the universe and of the belief that there must be a very much greater power than man responsible for the wonderful things which are daily occurring in the universe. Charles Hayden."
