Christmas party at Children's Mercy Hospital held in the children's playroom at the 1710 Independence Avenue building. Santa (white) is standing in front of a large decorated Christmas tree. Young patients (all white boys and girls) are sitting in chairs and beds around the room. They are looking at him and smiling. There are stained glass windows at the back of the room. A few white female nurses are seated among the children.
