Details
A line of horse-drawn carriages passes the left side of the Red Gate in a photograph taken from Red Gate Square in Moscow, Russia. The gate consists of dark walls, snow-white reliefs, golden capitals, and paintings representing "Tsardoms of the Russian Empire", coats of arms of Russian provinces, etc. with a double-headed eagle for Nicholas I's coronation. The structure is crowned by a golden statue of a trumpeting angel. A policeman stands guard in the square. A horse-drawn cart sits in the center of the square. Groups of people carry on the tasks of the day along the right side of the photograph.
