Interior view of the mosque at St. Sophie from above in Iznik, Turkey. Arched openings reveal hallways along the sides of a chancel on both the bottom and second floors. Domed ceilings with arched windows light the interior. A large chandelier surrounded by smaller chandeliers hangs from the domed ceiling. Large disc medallions in Cyrillic alphabet hang all around the chancel. Printed in handwritten white ink along the bottom of the photograph, "501. N5. Intérieur de la Moşquée de Şţe Şophie. Vue générale. Şébah & Joaillier."
