Possibly Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Austria, at the time of Elisabeth, Empress of Austria, lying in state. A large crowd had gathered outside the palace. Several officers of law are standing about or one is riding a horse. The building and columns are decorated. A flag with an imperial cross hangs on the right side of the photograph.
