Details
A view of the Royal Swedish Opera in Stockholm, Sweden, shows a terrace on the second story roof of the building; the arched opening on the ground floor, and windows with awnings at the street level. The boulevard runs between the opera and the river Norrström on the left side of the photograph has a horse-drawn street car, horse-drawn carriages, and wagons being pulled by horses. Many people walk on the wide sidewalks on either side of the boulevard. The Norrbro bridge crosses the river at the back of the photograph. On the right side of the photograph is a small glimpse of Kungsträdgården with a statue of King Charles XII in the center of walking paths. The clock tower and building of Saint Jacob's Church is on the right side of the photograph as well. Printed in white ink along the bottom of the photograph, "4068. Stockholm, Kungl. Operan. Foto. af Axel Lindahl 1898."
