Details
A view outside the Damascus Gate has several people—men, women, and two children—walking on the dirt road. One man stands beside his ladened donkey as another man, holding an umbrella to shade the sun, rides a donkey. The gate opening, although squared off, has an archway design above it. The gate goes through a city wall with a parapet along the top. Printed below the photograph, "110 Porte de Damaws. — Damascus gate. Damiani. Jérusalem"
