Details
A man stands on the grounds of the Tomb of Virgin and the Grotto of Agony. The stone paved grounds lead to a stone building with an arched gateway. To the right of the building is a narrow lane between two high, stone walls with a doorway at the end to the grotto. The Mount of Olives is visible above the walls in the background of the photograph. Printed below the photograph, "Damini. Jérusalem. 79 Tombeau de la Vierge et grotte de l'agonie. — Tomb of the Virgin and grotto of agony."
