Details
The few people in the grounds leading up to Al-Aqsa Mosque, give perspective to how large the structure is. Nine people walking, sitting, or lying on the grounds, look tiny compared to the large mosque that has seven arched openings into the interior, a gabled and a domed roofs. Seven trees form a sort of entry "road" into the mosque. Printed along the bottom of the photograph, "62 [illegible], Damiani. Jérusalem."
