Details
The interior of the Dome of the Rock, which is located at the center of the Haram al-Sharif in Jerusalem, has a hallway with arched doorways overlooking the rock. Elaborate filigreed metal grates extend halfway from the floor to the ceiling and drape the center of each archway. Elaborate dark columns support the archways and the ceiling on the other side of the hallway around the rock. A fence surrounds the rock. Printed below the photograph in white ink, "60 Intérieur de la mosquée d'Omar le Rocher - The Rock."
