A Middle Eastern peasant man is plowing a rocky field with a bovine and a donkey hooked up to the plow. The field is surrounded by a rock wall. Two trees stand in the field. Another bovine and another man stand in the field in the background of the photograph. Printed in white ink below the photograph, "Peasant Plowing, 364." The same phrase is printed in another language but is cut off by the edge of the paper. Printed in white ink script in the bottom, left-hand corner of the photograph, "American Colony, Jerusalem."
