One full terminal column of the ancient Appian Way in Brindisi, Italy, stands next to a nearly destroyed column to the left. The column overlooks the harbor. Printed in the left-hand corner in the margin below the photograph, "bis Brindisi — Colonna Erculea." Printed in the right-hand corner in the margin below the photograph, "A. Mauri Fotog. Napoili, Via Roma 256 e 32."
