Details
Funeral marble monument niche of the Procleides family in Keramikos, Athens. The family is depicted by Prokleides, the older man, in profile, seated on a chair on the right, bidding farewell to his son, Procles. Procles is depicted as a soldier holding a sword. He stands on the left opposite to his father, gazing at him. In the background Procles' mother, looking at the viewer, stands between them. Printed in stencil below the monument, "737."
