Statues rest on four pedestals at the bottom and the top and on either side of the stairs. Trolley tracks and a two-story building are on the left side of the photograph. A river is visible between the building and the staircase. Printed in white ink on the bottom, left-hand corner of the photograph, "9a. Dresden, Treppe der Brühlschen Terrasse." Embossed in the bottom, left-hand corner, "R-Tamms, Dresden."
