The boat in front has a large 32 hanging from it's canvas roof shading the passengers. Several people walk across the Point de la Archesveche bridge to the left of Notre Dame. Printed in white ink along the bottom of the photograph, "PARIS. — La Seine, vue prise du Pont de la Tournelle. X. Phot." The river splits around the island that Notre Dame sits on in the center of the river.
