Hôtel de Ville in Paris, France, has French Renaissance Revival architecture. The photograph is from across the Pl. de l'Hôtel de Ville from the southeast corner. The street has two horse-drawn carriages heading down the street toward the hotel. The sidewalks on either side of the street have quite a few men and women walking, some using parasols. Streetlamps line the both sides of the cobblestone street. The plaza in front of the hotel is full of carriages and people. Printed along the bottom of the photograph in white ink, "66, Paris _ Hôtel de Ville."
