The Fountain of Apollo (Le Bassin d'Apollo), at the palace and park of Versailles in Versailles, France, has Apollo driving four horses out of the water while three mermen and two sea monsters accompany him in a shallow pond. A levy and another pond are in the background of the photograph. Printed in the margin below the photograph, " 42. — Versailles. — Le Parc L. P. phot., Le char embourbé."
