The courtyard surrounded by the Gothic-style building of the Palace of Justice in Rouen, France. A long staircase begins in the courtyard with the rounded base of the bottom steps up between the railings to the pointed archway door. Two stories of windows, each column of windows topped with an ornate tower at the roofline. A full tower completes the building on the left side of the photograph. The wing to the left of the courtyard façade is original Gothic. It features pinnacles, gargoyles and a railing at the base of the roof.
