Details
Trossachs Hotel nestled at the foothills of Ben A'an in Trossachs, Scotland. The castle-style hotel of Gothic and Baroque styles has three turrets with tall cone roofs at each end of the building and in the middle. Seven chimneys are visible above the roof. This is a three story building with an attic level of dormer windows. Above the main entrance is a sign that reads, "The Trossachs Hotel." In front the hotel is a pasture with mounds of hay here and there in the field. Behind the hotel a large, rocky mountain, BenA'an, fills the entire background of the photograph. Printed in white ink on the bottom center of the photograph, "The Trossachs Hotel and BenA'An. 10,187. G.W.W."
