Details
The Apprentice Pillar [Prentice Pillar or Prince Pillar] in Rosslyn Chapel in Roslin, Scotland, is an intricately carved stone pillar with dragons intertwined at the base. A staircase descends to the right of the pillar. A painted glass window is just above the staircase. A chair and a candelabra are sitting to the left of the pillar in front of a wrought iron fence. Printed in white ink on the bottom center of the photograph, "The 'Prentice Pillar, Rosslyn Chapel. 310. G.W.W."
