Details
An unidentified Scotsman in ceremonial Highland attire is dancing a sword dance over crossed swords lying on the ground. Both hands are raised waist high at the elbows, palms up, fingers curled. His head is turned to the right as his eyes look down at his extended right toe tapping across a sword blade. His clothing and skin are tinted by hand with colorful paints. The swords and the background of a mountain range behind a lake are in black and white. The photograph's edges are cut to shape the portrait in a oblong octagon.
