A photograph of Széchényi Chain Bridge that joins Buda and Pest in Hungary by crossing the Danube River from a park below the bridge in Buda. On the right side of the photograph, St. Stephen's Basilica looms above the skyline of Pest on the other side of the bridge. Two sculpted lions on pedestals guard the entrance to the bridge. Ships are parked along the far side of the river. The sidewalks in the park at the base of the bridge in Buda, go around circular lawns. Printed in the margin on the below left of the photograph, "4604. Budapest. Lánczhild. — Kettenbrücke von Ofen gesehen." Printed in the margin on the below right of the photograph, "Verlag von Stengel & Markert, Dresden."
