A view of Gellért Hill with the Gellért Citadel on top of the hill in Budapest, Hungary. A paddle steamer ferry, Hatty U, is in the foreground crossing the Danube river with a few passengers aboard. Another vessel is further across the river on the left side of the photograph. Three buildings sit along the bay's edge below the cliffs of Gellért Hill. The one furthest to the left has the words, "Rudas Furdo" panted across the roofline. This is a Turkish bath house. Printed in the margin on the below left of the photograph, "4611. Budapest. Gellérthegyról. — Blocksberg." Printed in the margin on the below right of the photograph, "Verlag von Stengel & Markert, Dresden."
