Handwritten on photo: subject: "Tangerine in hand" ; Handwritten text on verso: This was taken in West[?] by Sal [possibly?] Bailey an artist with great acclaim here in Calif. He now resides at the Fairmont Hotel in Frisco. Truly a fine friend. By the way he did a painting of the King & Queen while they were visiting Frisco- also staying at the Fairmont & will be commissioned by them to come to their homeland to do more of same.
