Seated behind Claude are elderly white women and one elderly white man. An unidentified African American female nurse stands in the back corner of the room. A large terrarium is on the wall behind the seated elderly people. The date, "11 17 '00"," is imprinted by the camera on the bottom right-hand corner of the photograph.
