The top left photograph is a cityscape of the ongoing festival from the perspective of the Liberty Memorial looking north over downtown Kansas City with the Union Station being the front-most building. The photograph on the bottom left is children, both white and African American, playing in a fountain. The photograph on the left is a profile photograph of Buddy Guy, an African American blues guitarist, looking left, playing an electric guitar while wearing a cap and a striped, short-sleeved t-shirt.
