The Kansas City Streetband, comprised of African American and white male musicians, stands on the steps leading to the entrance of, likely, The Rose Music Hall, 1013 Park Avenue in Columbia, Missouri. The man on the left on the top step holds a trombone and wears a fedora and sunglasses. The man on the right on the top step holds a trumpet. The man on the left on the middle step holds an electric guitar and wears sunglasses. The man on the right on the middle step holds a bass and wears a fedora and sunglasses. The man in the front wears sunglasses and holds, possibly, drumsticks in his left hand. The wall behind them has signs that are the address numbers 1013, Open Entrance, a Deep Blues Aug. '95 calendar, and a handbill for Kansas City Street Band Friday, Aug. 4th." A deep blues promotional poster hangs to the right of the entrance door promoting the Kansas City Street Band and Mike Griffin.
