Details
The three story brick birthplace of Eugene Field in St. Louis, Missouri. A sign to the left of the doorway reads, "Eugene Field Shrine." A plaque placed above the first story windows states, "Here was born Eugene Field the poet 1850-1895." All of the windows have shutters. There are five steps up to the front door on the left front of the building. A brick sidewalk and street run along the front of the building. Streetcar rails run through the brick street.
