Typewritten note attached to back, "Rockefeller Center's 1953 Christmas tree towers majestically above its neighbors on the estate of W. P. Jenks near Morristown, N.J. After a search lasting several months, this beautiful 75-foot Norway spruce was selected as the tree to symbolize the Yuletide spirit at the Center."
