Details
From her left side, "The Washerwoman" bronze sculpture by August Renoir, is exhibited in the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. To her right and in front of her is the sculpture titled, "The River" created by Aristide Maillol. A lead sculpture of a woman twisting toward the water. To her right and behind "Washerwoman," is the Henry Moore's bronze sculpture titled, "Double Standing Figure." Barely visible in the back of the photograph are four sculptures. One on the left is a bronze woman with her hands above her head titled, "Maja" by Gerhard Marcks. To the left of Maja is "Bianca No. 2" by Oronzio Maldarelli. To the right of Maja is "Torso" by William Zorach. On farthest right is the bronze sculpture, "Floating figure" by Gaston Lachaise.
