The conductor stands with his back to the photographer centered in front of Prometheus and a fall-guard is behind him.

Typewritten note attached to back, "NEW YORK, N.Y. The 100-voice Rockefeller Center Choristers, under the direction of John R. Jones, presented their annual concert of traditional Easter music for thousands of Easter promenaders in the Lower Plaza at Rockefeller Center Easter Sunday afternoon. Accompanied by Howard Coombs, the Choristers sang selections from Gounod, Granier, Spicker, Brahms, and Handel."
