Rockefeller Center Channel Gardens at Easter has the pools lined by lilies. Two pools with the Rene Paul Chambellan "Fountainhead Figures" are in the center of the photograph. The Prometheus sculpture by Paul Manship is visible behind the crowd in the background.

Stamped on the back, "FROM; ROCKEFELLER CENTER INC. 50 ROCKEFELLER PLAZA, NEW YORK, CIRCLE 5-9000. FOR EDITORIAL USE ONLY. PHOTO BY EDWARD RATCLIFFE. Typewritten note attached to back, "NEW YORK, N.Y. Eleven hundred stately white Easter lily plants went on display in the Channel Gardens of Rockefeller Center on Good Friday., April 16, 1954. Each plant averaged six to eight blooms. Choral music on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday by the Rockefeller Center Choristers rounded out the Center's observance of the Easter season."
