EXT. 444, 311, AND 481. RELEASED FOR Monday, December 1, 1952. The Wise Men, guided by the Christmas Star, are led to the town of Bethlehem. Here the "Star" is shown as a grouping of three planets, Mars, Saturn and Jupiter, with a nova\u2014a brilliantly exploding old star\u2014in their midst. This and other possible astronomical theories as to the identity of the Christmas Star are dramatized in the Hayden Planetarium's traditional holiday classic, "The Star of Bethlehem," opening today (Monday, December 21, 1952) at the Planetarium." Stamped on back, "PLEASE CREDIT THE HAYDEN PLANETARIUM OF THE AMERICAN MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY."
