Handwritten note on verso of photo: Labor Day Sept. '69 Porter & Mac Porter passed 8 dec '69 in San Francisco on his 1st visit here (a fatal heart attack in the helicopter enroute to the air port "headed for home". He'd talked to Mac long distance the previous Fri nite 5 Dec.)
