Santa Claus (white) handing out presents to children (white and African American) at Children's Mercy Hospital with the help of Charles Wesley Pirtle (left) and Bob Paxton (right). Pirtle is in a wheelchair and his left leg has been amputated while Paxton is standing with the help of crutches. One boy is in a hospital gown and another has a cast on his arm.
